Paco brought over 4 homemade discs for my weight set.
2 x 14.5 kg and 2 x 18.5 kg. When I started putting the discs on the scale I realised that the bars (both of them) are 8.5 kg rather than 20 kg. The only good thing is that the MDF wood discs that I thought did not weight anything are in fact 7 kg in total, so I have been logging 4 kg more. This obviously change all my previous results.
From today the weight is 100% correct and any previous PR is 4 kg less.
So this post is a new line in the sand.

TUESDAY 090526
“Barbara”
Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

I did “Barbara” Lite version
10 Pull-ups
20 Push-ups
30 Sit-ups
40 Squats
Total time: 3’03″/3’30″/3’56″/4’24″/4’54” Rest 3 minutes between rounds Total net time 23’48″, gross time including the rest 35’48″

Pukie was knocking on the door on the last round, I had to stop. I felt the gazpacho from lunch was about to come out!!! So… definitely one of the hardest workout, do not get full with the 3 minutes rest.
My rings are now ready, so I will have them before the end of the week.

And I wasn’t on my own. Every year, anywhere from 65 to 80 per cent of all runners suffer an injury. No matter who you are, no matter how much you run, your odds of getting hurt are the same. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, fast or slow, pudgy or taut as a racehorse, your feet are still in the danger zone. But why? How come Roger Bannister could charge out of his Oxford lab every day, pound around a hard cinder track in thin leather slippers, not only getting faster but never getting hurt, and set a record before lunch?

115 pound Push Press, 20 reps (done with 98 pounds = 44.5kg)

I did 2 full rounds and 3rd round I completed box jumps and 10 Push Presses. I had to stop after 19’35″, so clooooose to meet pukie for real!!

Notes: The box jumps are a killer and I should have put a bit less weight for the push press.

The scale keeps telling me now 77.0kg, it is always pivoting there!!
